Subtitled a quick and dirty review of initial shots with a D800 and a crappy old ancient Sigma 70-200 lens.

Probably not the most enthralling image but it does show the potential of the camera rather well to me as the colours are damn near perfect straight from the camera, exposure is excellent and considering that the above image is simply the one below enlarged to 100% and then cropped to visible screen area the resolution is something from another planet to me.
D800 with portrait picture control set and #4 sharpening, Sigma 70-200 F/2.8 at 135mm F/4 and 100 iso.
