Hi
Have just joined as I have been browsing the web looking at what options I have to replace my Olympus E520 which died on me whilst in Portugal - have been thinking of upgrading to the e5 but it seems an awful lot of money for Olympus when I am not sure what direction they are taking - am I reading the situation OK or am I being naive in thinking that they may withdraw from the SLR field.
My little green heart does not cope with having 3 lens that I wont be able to use on a new camera - as I hate the thought of our disposable society - however don't see much point in throwing good money after bad
Has anyone any opinion on this - was thinking of going to the Nikon 5100 which I understand is bit up on the E520 - I am a beginner who throughly enjoys photography and will always be a keen amateur
