Surfer's Paradise

Hi All,

We will be going to the Surfers Paradise over the Queens Holiday weekend. I just wanted to ask locals of anyone who has been there of any nice places to shoot landscape. I'm a sucker for rocks and water.

Not much at all in and around Surfers it's self, Unless you want some shots of the Q1 and Soul Hi - Rise, Go to the Q1, Get the lift up to the Observation Deck, 88th floor :D Tripods are OK , A night shot can look good looking north , Just North of Surfers is the Spit Pumping Jetty on the beach, Up past Seaworld, No rocks at Surfers, But go South to , Burleigh Heads, Currumbin, Snapper Rocks , Hope that helps , BTW , If you want Mountain streams, In the Hinterland there's plenty
