Hello,
I have just joined the site, mainly because I came across the "New to photography book" and it looks like a good reference to learn photography. I'm a self-taught photographer and I'm looking to close a few gaps in my learning and gain some more confidence. I have had a DSLR for a few years now and am reasonably confident in using it manually, although I still only regard myself as a beginner.
I currently use a Nikon D80 with the stock standard 18-55 lens. I also have 2 speed lights and a 50mm 1.8 lens.
