Hi everyone!

I've been recommend this site from a few places on the net, Thought I would come check it out.

SLR beginner over here! So I look forward to learning some stuff from anyone thats happy to help :)

I have Just ordered a Canon 60d. Pretty excited for it to arrive, So I can put everything I've learnt so far to the test.

And congrats on the DSLR its a great choice I can understand you being excited.
Have you looked at the New To Photography Book And Forum (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) plenty of info on there to start with..

G'day Brendon.
First thing I did when I got my 60D was checked it worked (I remember the excitement you have). The second thing I did was read the manual.:)
