Bunya Mountains Nat. Park.

Here's some photos of our trip to the Bunyas in February.
The weather was mainly sunny but cold of a night in the tent. There are many locations for photography throughout the park. We stayed for three nights and still didn't see all this park has to offer.

Hi Rexs1. Great shot of the kangaroos. The fur looks so real I can almost feel it.

I have taken the liberty to edit #3 by darkening the sky and distant hills in Lightroom (Using the adjustment brush and reducing the exposure) I think this helps set off the foreground as the lighter background is a little washed out for me. I would be keen to hear your comments.

Thanks Greg. It looks better. It was hard to get really sharp images as the wind was constant at every exposed location. I think next time I will get a neutral density filter for the skys.
The wallaby stayed still for a while, so that was a bit sharper.

Just went to the Bunya Mts, lucky not to see a snake there, so good to see one here :) Would have been interesting to photograph a wild one on the track! Love the wallaby, very cute.

I'm going to pipe in with a tip:

Watch your highlights when you're shooting in a shadowed area like the rainforest.
Your waterfall shot has some very bright bits in the top right hand corner.

Naturally, the eye is drawn to the brightest area of an image, in this case, it's the top right, and it tends to pull the eye out of the frame rather then into it.

Certainly, it would not have been an easy shot to get due to the large dynamic range of the light (bright full sun at the top and shadowed down the bottom) In this case, shortening the shutter speed and/or stopping down the aperture further would have been the answer. (I dont' have an exif viewer on my work pc, so I'm not too sure about your setting here)
