I am from Melbourne. At the moment I have a canon 300D and the 2 kit lenses it came with. I am very much a novice. I am in the process of researching my nesxt camera which is looking like a 600D or 60D body and purchasing a separate lens.

If you haven't already done so, wander into a shop and feel them both in your hands. It made my change my mind (though I wasn't looking at the 600D).
I'm more than happy with the 60D.

I did go into a shop and look at both cameras. Would you believe I just this minute purchased the 60D body online. My next move is to look at the
