Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my Nikon D60 to a newer model.

I really love my D60 but am looking for a model with the HD filming capabilities. Could anyone make any suggestions for a model with this feature but is similar in usability (including size) to the D60?

Thank you :)

I would suggest the D5100 for its amazing features, with affordable price.

I have a D5100, very happy with the HD Filming.

Yeah! D5100 is the natural successor to the D60, slightly upgraded feature list and with better specs all round, but just in case you have a few hundred more to spend, also look into a D7000 too.
The feature list on the D7000 is close to the semi pro Dxxx lineup of old.

I went from a d40x (d60 predecessor) to a d7000. The d7000 is a bit larger, but easy to handle. I'd recommend the d7000 or d5100 if you want a slightly smaller camera with an articulated screen. (the d7000 does not have an articulated screen btw, but is better in other ways.)

Rob
