Lightroom Question

I'm hoping someone can help me with some stupid questions. I downloaded the 30 day trial of Lightroom 3, and now it's up I obviously need to purchase it to keep using it. Now that Lightroom 4 is out it is the only option on the Adobe site which also costs more and I just want to keep lightroom 3 for now. Am I going to have to buy it from a store? Also does the upgrade option work when I only had a trial or do I have to buy the full version?

You'll have to buy lr4, it would be cheaper than buying lr3 then upgrading to lr4.....you might find some knocked down versions of lr3 at Harvey Norman etc tho

Ok thanks, and I have to buy the full version rather than upgrade? Even though I have lightroom 3 already installed from the trial?

You cant upgrade a trial because you didnt buy it
