Ok so this is my first post so I suppose I should tell you a little bit about me, so here it goes:
I was born in London England and moved to Manchester where I lived for 9 years before moving to Newcastle, NSW.
I have been taking pictures all my life and have been frequently told I have 'a good eye for a picture', but am still such a novice! So I decided to learn how to use my equipment properly and enrolled in the photography institutes online course to get me started.
I have a very distinct taste when it comes to my work, as you will see when I post some of my images. CC is very much welcomed as I know it will not be to everyones taste; I see beauty in the strangest places.
As of yet I am still undecided as to where I want the course to take me. I love macro photography and landscapes, and animals, and architecture, in fact there's not much I don't like. I guess I'll know when I'm done (hopefully!).
I have to say viewing some of the images on here has made me a little apprehensive as they are all amazing, but rather than discourage me I have decided to become inspired, and I can't wait to get going.
:gday: Welcome Londonlass, you have a great attitude in regards to choosing to be inspired. :th3: The advantage of liking many different forms of photography means there is always something to catch your eye, so even if you do decide to specialise you are not "stuck" for subjects. I look forward to seeing your photos. :)

Thank you!
As soon as I've figured out how to post a picture I shall do so!
I think there is a waiting period as I have only just joined.
I shall persevere. :th3:

Welcome to the site, you def moved to a great place!!
Im also doing the course you've enrolled in, im not to far from actually finishing it.
In all honesty, i dont think the course will "take you" anywhere. After enrolling myself and reading some more into it, it has actually been suggested that the course is in fact unaccredited. NOW, in saying that, i have enjoyed it and have also learned so much from it. Good luck, read everything twice and take your time with it.
Welcome to the site and i look forward to seeing your pics :th3:

A fellow PI student, nice one! I have to say I did do my research on the course and am aware of this but as a immigrant I am unable to study here without paying astronomical fees. The course for me is a way of getting my feet on the ladder before I go on to bigger an better things, hopefully with a sound base knowledge as apposed to being a complete novice!
And yes you are right, I certainly wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world right now.........ok, well somewhere a little drying would be preferable! Lol
