To find out more about where and what time etc your group is meeting it looks like you need to find an organiser on Google+. In Melbourne we have a Melbourne Photographers Group/Circle that are meeting regularly and are participating in this walk. I'm sure there are similar around the place. Search for #TheWalkDownunder

I get the impression this started out as a "mobile" photowalk, but it seems the work mobile is missing from a lot of organisation and it is turning into a general one. in any case take your mobile and your dSLR or any camera for that matter, just get along!

The Google photowalk is gaining momentum, almost 500 registrations in Australia so far, over 100 for the Melbourne walk. We are making a day of it with a lunch stop at Flagstaff Gardens. Everyone is welcome, so join us for the morning or afternoon. More info here...

I have seen this being spruked alot lately, I am sure it will be a great day out and bet Google is loving the free publicily!

It was a great meet, over 100 in attendance at the start. Google put on breakfast at the pancake parlour, as well as ice-Cream for those of us left at 5PM!
